So I've been quiet the last few days since the election. I'm pretty disappointed with the results and disappointed with America. I think the cover from the Daily Mirror in the UK does a pretty good job of summing it up. I've been able to deal with the defeat by just reminding myself that it honestly doesn't effect my daily life and I'm just going to have to move on. I may at some point try and get involved/active in politics, but that discussion is for another day. You'd think by now I would have stopped being so idealist? Yet another disappointing lesson I've learned this year. I have enough faith in our system to know the country survive the next 4 years, but we'll pay the price for this guy's presidency for a long, long time.
