Another important lesson in watching what you say. I was talking to my sister on Sunday and we ended up getting into a discussion about careers. She said she hated computers and that they suck. Since she's studying to become optometrist, I told her I hated eyes.

The next day I got a call from her and she said she regretted saying bad things about computers because her Internet connection stopped working that morning. She was convinced the computer heard her and was getting revenge. It turned out to be a random problem with her Internet router, but it was funny.

Now it's my turn. Yesterday my right eye started to hurt. It's odd cause I've never had any issues with my eyes. This morning I woke up and my eyelid is all swollen. I just spoke to her and she went through a serious of questions with me on the phone. It looks like I'm going to survive. If it's not better by tomorrow tho, I'll probably have to go see a doctor in person.

She asked me the last time I got an eye exam and I told her last year. When I told her who I saw (a friend of our dad's), she said he wasn't good and “he doesn't know shit about refraction.” I laughed at the excellent eye-geek trash talking. Those crazy kids.
